I currently live in Appomattox, Virginia . After receiving degrees from Marshall University and WVU, I began my career in the field of Secondary School Administration for 30 years. (teacher, assistant principal, adult administrator)

Retiring from the education field in 1996, I entered the field of corrections and served as an officer and counselor with the VA Dept. of Corrections until 2009.

I have been married to Reva, my wife, for 55 years and we have one daughter, one grand-daughter and one great grand-daughter, 2 dogs and 1 cat. I enjoy my retirement by volunteering in the community.
