I attended the Eigth Grade at the School the second year it was open. School year of 1953-54! I also attended the Ninth Grade the Third Year the school was opened. The School Year of 1954-55! It was great being part of a new school and helping to establish it's traditions.

In the ninth grade I was in charge of everything that happened in the auditorium. We had two state of the art movie projectors which would automatically switch when the first reel would come to an end. We also had new carbon ark flood light which was fun to operate. We would once a week show movies during home room period which included Bud Abbott and Lew Costello.

I was on the Ninth Grade football team which won the Wood County Championship in 1955. Let me know your experiences during this time! Thanks Dave
